  I was trying to get an application for assistance in paying my Electric Bill. I have gotten way behind, and they have shut it off. I am a single mother of 3 Children, and I can't seem to get ahead. I am a homemaker, and I do receive Snap Benefits and medicaid, and that is the only source of help I'm getting, could someone just let me know what I need to do.

  Office in Linden NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. And is very hard to have any contact with ANYBODY there! It seems they have some setup going on there that they don't want anybody else to know about or just not the right people to get the jobs done. If you do get an app & then need to talk to manager, etc. on electric assistance you may email & then wait & wait & never get a reply, then maybe way later after extra efforts you may get a reply but it's all very upsetting. If you're told they will call you back if ever do finally get someone on phone, they don't call back or maybe weeks later, saying was on vacation, or out all last week or this or that. Maybe they don't want to do the work or aren't able to or they have some "INSIDE SYSTEM" going on where they PICK & CHOOSE who they work with & help & who they don't.

  Been trying awhile to connect with these people. How do they know when you don't have a ext. #? You only dial the number to them. When I finally got them in the summer they sent app. Drove from Emory to them over 50 miles and then they would not accept my app. Now I have a cut off notice that I can not pay on time.
