About Catholic Charities St Pete Utility Assistance

Catholic Charities, HIV/AIDS Program, offers a comprehensive continuum of housing and related supportive services including Emergency Rent and Utilities Assistance, Transitional and Permanent Housing. 1) The Emergency Rent and Utilities component assists eligible individuals and families by paying rent and utility bills on a short-term basis, assessing service needs and making referrals to other agencies to prevent further need for assistance. 2) Transitional Housing offers a safe and supportive living environment with varying levels of support including limited transportation, assistance in finding permanent housing and leisure time activities. Some centers offer congregate meals while in others, residents prepare their own meals. 3) Permanent Housing is available to individuals and families who are stable enough to live independently. Limited transportation is available for medical and social service appointments. Tenants are required to pay rent based upon their income. The Christopher Center complex also houses the Pinellas HIV Medical Clinic, which provides free HIV Testing and medical care for persons with HIV or AIDS. 4) The Counties served: Pinellas County

    Im looking for assistance to help catch up on my electric bill since this virus has me over $400 behind. Hours shortened at work, I barely afford rent, there is no extra to even pay a quarter of my monthly bill let alone any of the $400+ back pay I owe
