The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) assists low-income households pay their electrical bill. Eligible homeowners or renters may qualify to have specific payment amount credited to their electric utility account or receive financial assistance. If you a resident of El Dorado or Alpine County, you can apply for this program and bring all the required paperwork.
Priority is given to households that have elderly, disabled and children under 5.
