About ReIMPACT Community Action Partnership

IMPACT Community Action Partnership offers various services for low-income residents of Boone, Jasper, Marion, Warren, and Polk County

Propane assistance also available November through April. Provides crisis, homeles prevention, liheap, low cost weatherization, lifeline phone assistance, assists with food stamps, Iowa Care Application, Senior Living Program, Embrace Iowa Program.



Also known as LIHEAP, IMPACT's Energy Assistance Programming  includes several types of assistance:

 - ENERGY ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS

A program designed to aid low-income families in the payment of a portion of their heating costs for the winter season, to promote energy awareness and to encourage a reduction of energy usage through energy efficiency and client education. Payments are based on family income, demographic factors, and fuel type. 

Iowa law provides that clients, who are eligible for the energy assistance program or weatherization may not be disconnected from their electric or natural gas supply from November 1 through April 1 each year.

 
- ENERGY CRISIS INTERVENTION PROGRAM

Limited crisis funds are available for emergency payments for deliverable fuels, arrangements related to potential disconnections or reconnections of services, and furnace repair/replacement.

    Hi My electric was shut off this morning, even though i made a payment last week. When i spoke with them this morning, they said i had to have $800 to turn it on. Last week nothing was said of this nature. I have 5 kids living here. With out electricity their food will spoil. Please let me know if you have any resources or are able to help .

    I cant get ahold of no one ne n my childs home was ruined on aug 10th due to the storm we need help asap i filled out the disater relief application but dont know where to send it.
