Assists low-income families with Energy Bills, eligibility is based on 60% of the State Median Income or 150% of the Federal poverty guidelines whichever is higher.
LIHEAP Application Requirements:
 Social Security cards or Real IDs (Indiana driver’s license with a star on the corner)
 Photo ID for the Head of Household.
 Proof of all income for the three months prior to the month of your application
 Current electric and heat bills
 If heat or electric utilities are included in your rent, must provide a Landlord Affidavit
 Copy of your current lease
 If you are a veteran, DD 214 form or Veterans ID card.
