About Tallatoona CAP - Floyd LIHEAP

LIHEAP is a program that Tallatoona provides to all qualifying low-income families, disabled individuals and elderly in our eight county service delivery area. The LIHEAP funds can assist with starting new heating services, paying tank rentals and/or delivery, and to stop the disconnect of heating services. The funds can also assist in situations where the account is current as long as the household applies, qualifies, and is approved.

I do not know- well I do, I literally don’t know where I’d be at this moment but it would’ve been w/out heat and a home. THAT’S how special this program and the people who work so, so hard to help as many as is possible. Robin in Floyd, Marion in Gordon...thank you from the bottom of my heart. .

I had my phone interview for heating assistance on January 18, 2021, dropped off all my paper work in their drop box the next day; I haven't heard from anyone. I have emailed and left several messages. Anyone have any idea when I will find out if I was approved?

I would love to thank Tallatonna energy assistance for the help they have provided my mom for the last several years. As she never gets any other help with anything at all. She has worked all her life and always paid every bill. The state of GA feels like the 900 SSI should be enough to take care of each UTILITY , DR, INS,,MEDICEN, , GROCERY,, CAR INS. so its warming to know that someone cares enough to help with anything at all. and to those complaining, do you have the time to go volunteer your time to help with the ones who are trying to help?
