About Tippecanoe County Temporary Assistance to Needy Families - DFR

Temporary assistance to poor families, formerly known as "assistance to families with dependent children", may, with approval, be provided to eligible persons.
It provides a maximum grant of $229 per month for an eligible child and a needy relative, $59 for each additional child, and $59 for a disabled parent living at home.
An eligible child living with an ineligible relative may receive a maximum of USD 139 per month. Each additional eligible child in the home can receive a maximum of USD 59.
The full amount of medical services provided under the Medicaid plan is available to each TANF recipient.
