South Carolina Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides home energy assistance to help eligible low-income households meet their home heating and/or cooling needs.
Your Community Action Agency in your county may be able to offer you one or more of the following types of assistance:
Utility bill payment assistance
Energy crisis assistance
Weatherization and energy-related home repairs
Services are provided by appointment ONLY.
We schedule appointments by the week. Please call on Monday mornings at 8:30 a.m. to schedule an appointment for assistance with your electricity bill through our Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
For rental assistance through our General Emergency Assistance Program (GEAP), please call on Friday mornings at 8:30 a.m. to schedule an appointment.
