The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program provides home energy assistance to help eligible low-income households meet their home heating and cooling needs.
The Weatherization Assistance Program provides assistance for home weather to improve the quality of life of low-income families, particularly for the elderly, people with disabilities and children by improving the energy efficiency of their homes with an eye toward their health and safety.
The weather aid programmed for each of the 46 counties is coordinated by eight social action agencies.
